Are you eager to dive into Object-Oriented UX? Ready to learn how to get at the heart of intricate systems? This course will teach you a repeatable methodology to tackle complexity, wrangle stakeholders, and make systems-level change in the experiences you create. Cohort 6 of this small-group coaching program starts on February 21st.

The OOUX Masterclass Certification is a rigorous, fast-paced course designed and delivered by Sophia Prater. The program begins with the principles of the object-orientedness of humans. It continues with a robust methodology for deconstructing a problem space into its constituent parts then scaling for complexity with the practical ORCA framework.

The program also offers hands-on experience, weekly assignments, personalized attention and guidance from Sophia and your cohort mentor, and opportunities for exchange with your peers from the cohort.

Dates and agenda

21 February-25 April 2022, 10 weeks x 10-15 hours per week commitment.

  • Every Wednesday, 2-3 hours of video lectures will become available to you, along with an assignment. You’ll have until Monday to take in the content, work on your assignment, and bring your course project up to the next level of OOUX.
  • Every Monday, you’ll participate in office hours at 12pm EST. After asking all your questions, you’ll have some time to refine your assignment before the next module of lectures. Office hours will be recorded and available for you if you cannot make that time work.

Weekly Schedule

  • Monday 12pm – 1:30 pm EST (5pm GMT, 7pm EET) – 90 min office hours with Sophia.
  • Wednesday – new self-paced video lectures are released (2-3 hours long).

You set your own weekly schedule for working on course assignments. Week 7 is set aside as a break week for catching up as needed.
